We slept well again at the Ancient House Resort
in Hoi An.
We do wake up early, earlier than we planned, but that works out quite well, we can now pack
and have breakfast more leisurely because today we fly to
Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok.
After showering we start packing, and that is done quickly, we do have a lot of dirty
clothes, which we all put together in one of the suitcases.
The breakfast is just like the last few days very good, and now many people from the hotel
with whom we have talked the last few days come by to wave us goodbye and to exchange
addresses and such.
This to the surprise of many other hotel guests.
very nice.
The taxi to the airport was supposed to arrive at half past nine but it was already there at
a quarter past nine.
We leave and after about three quarters of an hour we are at
Da Nang International Airport, it seems bigger than the airport of
Ha Noi.
The counter is not open yet but after a few minutes we are one of the first to check in.
Passport control and baggage check go without any problems and then we are in the departure
hall, where we have more than two hours.
There are enough shops and we look around, buy a few things to take with us and to spend our
Vietnamese dong.
In the end we have 4000 VND left, about 0.15 Euro, and we can't buy anything else with that.
We are one of the first to get in and it turns out that someone sits next to us, a somewhat
stubborn, talkative Englishman, but he quickly keeps his mouth shut after he notices that we
are not interested in his chatter.
After more than 1.5 hours we land at Suvanrnabhumi Airport and we can get off at the
satellite terminal.
This means that we get off the train between the satellite terminal and the regular terminal
right in front of the passport control and immediately walk to the Thai passport control.
We have to wait a while for the luggage, and in the meantime Moue calls to tell us that she
will pick us up after all.
She tells us where, at which floor and which exit, she is waiting for us.
But she is not there, she has given the floor of the parking garage and not the exit of the
arrivals hall.
It will be fine after all.
On the way home we stop somewhere, at สถานีติดแซ่บ ลาดกระบัง along the Motorway, and then we go
home in
Lat Krabang.
We unpack and tidy up a bit.
Tom is tired and goes to bed early, Pia stays to talk to one of the nieces and she has to
listen to the necessary problems.
As a result, she sleeps badly.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not.
There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment,
there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood,
the weather and many other factors.
